Meet Luca

A cyclist on a gravel bike among fields and hills
The bike takes me places. Curiosity makes me stop.

I’m Luca, a qualified environmental and hiking guide in Tuscany, cyclist and photographer. Tuscany Unpaved grew out of years exploring by mountain bike, gravel bike and bikepacking across Pisa, Lucca, Livorno and Florence.

I plan routes, connect trails and observe the landscape. I love sharing the region through its nature, its history and the people who live here. At an unhurried pace, with time for a photograph and a story.
